Alan Bean for Wheeler Historical Museum

In 2011, Swift Hill Productions traveled to Houston, Texas to interview Alan L. Bean. Alan was born in Wheeler and went on to become an Apollo 12 Astronaut and the fourth man to walk on the moon. In this promo, Alan talks about the importance of working as hard as you can towards your dreams.

WHM’s LAST DANCE with The Motif’s!

In 2014, the Wheeler Historical Museum wanted to say goodbye to the many incredible times had at the old American Legion West-Passon’s Post #138, the building which now houses our beloved museum. To do this best, we invited local legend’s The Motif’s to come and mark this pivotal time in Wheeler history. With the closing of the Last Dance, Post #138 is now officially the Wheeler Historical Museum. Join us in preserving our history today!

Open the Door
